On July 15, 2025, as part of the grant project “Support for Vulnerable Members of the Korean Diaspora in Uzbekistan,” the project working group held a meeting with representatives of the Tashkent Regional Hokimiyat to discuss the construction of a new four-room house (82 sq.m. with furniture) to replace the burned-down home of Klavdiya Kim, who resides in the Gulistan kolkhoz of the Urtachirchik district, Tashkent region.
The construction of the new house is financed by the International Charitable Foundation Good Neighbors with the support of the International Women’s Public Foundation SHARQ AYOLI.
The meeting was attended by Nilufar Anvarzhonovna Normirzaeva, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent Region for Women and Family Affairs, her deputies from the Urtachirchik district, the Chairperson of the Gulistan Mahalla Committee, and the Assistant Hokim for Youth Affairs of the Urtachirchik district.
The discussion covered not only the construction but also material support for the affected family, medical treatment for Klavdiya Kim, and assistance in clearing the site of the damaged house.
