On July 21, 2025, the Working Group of the international grant project «Support for Vulnerable Members of the Korean Diaspora in Uzbekistan» took part in an on-site meeting held at School No. 24 in the Akkurgan district of Tashkent region.
The grant project is being implemented by the International Women’s Public Foundation «Sharq Ayoli» – «Woman of East» with funding from the international charitable foundation Good Neighbors International (GNI).
The purpose of the meeting was to plan the technical equipment for School No. 24 and the phased construction of new classrooms.
The meeting was attended by Tura Abdiyevich Bobolov, Hokim of Akkurgan district of Tashkent region, Saodat Tursunbaeva, Chairperson of the Sharq Ayoli Foundation, and Mincheol Park, Coordinator of the Good Neighbors International (GNI) Foundation, along with the Deputy Hokim for Youth Affairs and the school principal.
The project is being carried out with the support of the Hokimiyat of Tashkent region, the Korean Diaspora Association, and others.
